## How to read these records

### Primary and secondary licenses

A business holds one primary license — retail by the drink, original package, microbrewery, winery, solicitor,
shipper — and may add secondary licenses to it: Sunday sales, tasting, catering, extended hours, permission to
employ minors. The record shows the primary license and every secondary license attached to it.

### Licensee and trade name

The licensee is the person or company the license was issued to; the trade name is the name on the door. One
licensee can hold many licenses — a chain has one per store — and the record lists the others.

### Active only, without dates

The file is the list of licenses active on its date. It gives no issue date and no expiration date, and a license
that ended is simply gone. A business missing here may have been licensed after Oct 1, 2026.

### What is not here

The manager or contact named in the state file, and phone numbers: not republished. City and county licenses,
violations and disciplinary actions are not in the file.
